Terms of Service

1. What Cardvue is

Cardvue is a directory of local service businesses. Businesses create digital business cards; customers browse, flip, and review them. Cardvue introduces customers to businesses — it does not perform services, guarantee work quality, or act as an agent of any business listed.

2. Business accounts

To list a business you must be authorized to represent it, and the information you provide — business name, license or permit details, phone number, and service descriptions — must be accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date. Cardvue may remove or suspend listings that contain false information, impersonate another business, or violate these terms.

3. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fake, incentivized, or manipulative reviews are prohibited and may be removed. Businesses may not post reviews of their own business or pay others to do so. Reviews are the opinions of their authors; Cardvue does not endorse or verify review content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no spam, no scraping at abusive volumes, no attempts to disrupt the site, and no unlawful content. Accounts used for fraud or abuse will be removed.

5. Card designs

Premium card designs are a one-time purchase per business and remain available to that business. All sales are final except where required by law.

6. Disclaimers

Cardvue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the availability of any business, or uninterrupted service. Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the business — Cardvue is not a party to it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cardvue's liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to Cardvue in the twelve months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
